This is the first post of my blog. It is basically for the students of LPU (Lovely Professional University). Moreover, the info i am gonna share with u guyz can be helpful for the students of other colleges and universities.
As you all know that university is having a filter installed on its network which restricts its users to access some sites.e.g YouTube is not accessible legally. Also, it is quite a big issue to download or watch movies.
In order to overcome this problem, proxy server comes first in our mind. There are hundreds of proxy switching soft-wares or websites available online which helps in accessing the internet freely. In computer networks, a proxy server is a server (a computer system or an application) that acts as an intermediary for requests from clients seeking resources from other servers. A client connects to the proxy server, requesting some service, such as a file, connection, web page, or other resource available from a different server and the proxy server evaluates the request as a way to simplify and control its complexity. Today, most proxies are web proxies, facilitating access to content on the World Wide Web.

These softwares are easy to use and are easily available. But getting good downloading speed is a common problem with these softwares.
I am suggesting you guyz a software ; Proxy switcher . It is a very good software which generates hundreds of proxy addresses of many countries. you can switch to these servers with a single click.
Although it is a paid software and it can be a problematic job to download its full version. But you can download its torrent.
If some of you don`t know how to download torrents in university, then i will write the method in my next post.Till then you can use the free softwares written above.

When I was in my College I always wanted to access many blocked sites during my computer practical classes but these sites were banned from my network admin end and whenever there was a blocked site word in URL we received an “Access Denied” page but when I knew about this site it’s an Gold coin for me.
